Apple has not announced its September 2026 iPhone event yet, but its recent scheduling pattern points strongly to Wednesday, September 9, with the official invitation likely arriving exactly two weeks earlier on August 26.

The timing matters because Apple has followed the same 14-day announcement window for every major iPhone launch since 2022, giving us a fairly reliable way to estimate when the iPhone 18 Pro event will become official.

Bloomberg has suggested that Wednesday, September 9, looks slightly more likely because Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7, giving invited attendees more time to travel after the holiday.

If Apple sticks with its recent pattern, the company should announce the event on Wednesday, August 26, although Tuesday, August 25, remains another possible date.

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone, which could carry the iPhone Ultra name.

The standard iPhone 18 is expected to arrive separately in spring 2027 alongside the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2, while new Apple Watch models should also appear during the September presentation.

The event will also carry added significance because John Ternus becomes Apple CEO on September 1, making the upcoming iPhone launch the first major product event under his leadership.
