Apple CEO John Ternus has teased a major product launch coming next week, adding more attention to Apple’s September 9 special event, where the company is expected to introduce its next wave of hardware.

In his first memo to Apple employees as CEO, Ternus said the company has a “huge launch next week that’s going to be phenomenal,” although he did not reveal which products Apple plans to announce.

Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak also teased the event in a social media post, saying Apple has “more to say” on Wednesday, September 9, when the presentation begins at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max alongside its first foldable iPhone, while the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and potentially AirPods 5 are also expected to appear during the event.

The event will take place at Steve Jobs Theater, and Apple could still have additional announcements planned beyond the products currently expected.
