Two thermostats, one price. The LG Smart Thermostat and the Schneider Home Smart Thermostat both start at $199.95 (U.S.) in the U.S. and Canada. Adaptive Temperature uses on-device intelligence from iPhone to adjust for when you are home, winding down or away. Room sensors are $39.95, or HomeView, HomePod and HomePod mini can act as sensors. Thermostat details.

What four-speaker surround costs. The new mode needs Apple TV 4K (4th generation) and four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers in matching front and rear pairs. With four HomePod mini 2 speakers ($149 each) and the $299 Apple TV 4K, that is $895 before tax. Every combination priced out.

No HomeView in the EU. Apple says HomeView “is not available for sale in the European Union, as Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS in the EU,” and that it is “working constructively with the EU in an attempt to find a path forward.” Where HomeView is sold.
Own an older Apple TV 4K? You still get Siri AI. Apple says Siri AI is available as a beta in tvOS 27.2 on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later). The new 4th generation box adds far-field microphones for hands-free Siri and the A19 chip. What you need to use it.

HomeView runs on the A18 chip, recognizes up to six people by their face and gives each one a personal Home Screen. The Home Camera face can livestream up to nine video feeds at once. Siri AI is in English in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. HomeView is not sold in the EU, as Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS there.
“Apple HomeView is designed to be shared by everyone in the home yet feel completely personal to each user,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

The wall-mounted HomeView attaches with one of three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home:
- Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector: from $59.95, order now
- Power Mount AC Wired: from $79.95, order now
- Power Mount PoE Wired: $129.95, early 2027

Four-speaker surround sound arrives. For the first time, Apple TV 4K (4th generation) can drive four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers in matching front and rear pairs. The speakers recognize their position in the room, and audio timing and levels are calibrated automatically.

Siri AI on Apple TV gets a full-screen experience. It’s available as a beta on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later), in English at launch in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. The new Siri Remote adds Find My with Precision Finding and a play-sound option, and is sold separately too.
“The new Apple TV 4K is our most immersive home theater experience yet,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.

The new Apple TV 4K costs $299 and arrives Friday, November 13. It’s also offered at $49.83 per month for six months. Pre-orders are open in the U.S. and 29 other countries and regions.
- A19 chip: up to 50 percent faster CPU and up to 2x faster GPU than the previous generation

Two more HomePod mini 2 additions:
- Mac speaker: it can serve as the default speaker for any Mac with Wi-Fi 6E or later, single or as a stereo pair.
- Sound Glow: the top glows and pulses in sync with music, reacting in real time to bass and treble.

Siri AI comes to HomePod mini 2 in a future software update, in English, in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. It requires the owner of the home to have an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad. HomePod mini can recognize up to six users in a household by their voice.
“HomePod mini 2 brings together Siri AI, gorgeous new colors, and incredible audio,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Home Product Marketing.

Apple Home Collection prices (U.S.):
- LG Video Doorbell Wired: from $249.95
- LG Floodlight Cam: from $399.95
- LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In: from $299.95
- LG Indoor Cam Plug-In: from $199.95

There are two Smart Thermostats, one from LG and one from Schneider Electric, each starting at $199.95. Adaptive Temperature in the Home app adjusts them based on whether someone is at home, winding down at night, or away. Clean Energy Guidance is limited to the contiguous U.S.

LG’s Smart Deadbolt Lock uses Ultra Wideband to unlock as you walk up with a home key on a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch. It also has a PIN pad and a hidden backup key slot, supports Matter and Aliro, and works entirely locally, so core access functions continue without an internet connection.

No separate camera subscription, but you need iCloud+. Each camera gets 10 days’ worth of event video history. Apple’s footnotes set the camera limits per plan:
- 50GB plan: one camera
- 200GB plan: up to five cameras
- 2TB plan: an unlimited number of cameras
Which iCloud+ plan covers how many Apple Home Collection cameras
LG makes the four cameras: Video Doorbell, Floodlight Cam, Outdoor Cam and Indoor Cam. Every camera captures up to 2.5K resolution video and recognizes people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles and packages. The doorbell has dual cameras, 2.5K on the front and full HD on the bottom, and its chime plays through HomeView, HomePod and HomePod mini.

Everything is set up starting with one tap with iPhone and managed in the Home app, with no separate app or account. Every device supports Thread.
“Apple Home Collection makes it easy to choose smart home accessories with confidence,” said Matthew Costello, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering.
