Netflix has not renewed Crew Girl for Season 2. The streamer says all eight episodes of Season 1 are available now, while its official guide describes a second season as a possibility rather than a confirmed order.
That leaves Teagan Tao’s future at Easton Prep open, but it also means viewers should separate the finale’s loose ends from an actual renewal. Cast members Miku Martineau, Sam Braun and Kyle Clark have offered ideas for where the story could travel, not a production announcement.

Teagan’s race does not settle every question

At Easton Prep, Teagan takes the coxswain seat on an all-boys crew team, placing a determined athlete in the middle of team friction, old-money expectations and two competing romantic connections.

Netflix lists the finale as “O Coxswain, My Coxswain,” after an eight-episode run that includes an indoor qualifying episode called “Under Pressure.” The official episode guide establishes a season built around a decisive home race, but it does not promise that every character’s next step has already been mapped as a second season.
The lake could become a summer setting
In Netflix’s Season 1 guide, Braun said a possible return could leave the school calendar behind for summer break and life on the lake. Clark said he would like the show to expand its use of rowing if it had more time. Those are creative wishes from the performers, not evidence that Netflix has picked up another season.
Martineau also kept Teagan’s romantic future deliberately open, joking that the next chapter could bring an even more complicated shape to the love story. That tracks with the show’s basic setup: Teagan is caught between Josh Regis, the team’s privileged golden boy, and Cam Dillinger, the quieter local rower.
Netflix has only announced the first eight episodes
The reliable status is simple. Netflix’s title page lists one season, eight episodes and a TV-14 rating. The service has not published a Season 2 release date, production start, returning-cast list or trailer. Until one of those arrives through Netflix or the producers, reports that a renewal is secured should be treated as speculation.
