RuPaul plays President Judy Gagwell in Stop! That! Train!, while Ginger Minj and Jujubee lead the action as best friends Tess and DeeDee. Their characters are train stewardesses who move from the run-down Stank Rail to the luxurious Glamazonian Express just before a giant storm turns the journey into a runaway disaster.

The film surrounds that central trio with performers from the Drag Race world and a long list of comedy cameos. The cast is deliberately oversized because the movie spoofs disaster films, where officials, crew members and nervous passengers each get a small part in saving the day.

RuPaul plays President Judy Gagwell

President Gagwell is a broad political creation with a simple campaign slogan, a devoted press secretary and an Oval Office designed for visual jokes. RuPaul plays her as supremely confident even when the information reaching the White House is chaotic.

Matt Rogers plays the president’s press secretary, who tries to turn every update into a performance. Rachel Bloom plays Donna Dusk, the serious controller at train headquarters who understands that the Glamazonian Express is heading toward catastrophe while her colleagues struggle to focus.

Ginger Minj and Jujubee lead the train crew

Ginger Minj’s Tess and Jujubee’s DeeDee are the emotional core. The friends trained together, dreamed of seeing the country and ended up stuck in an unglamorous job. Their move into coach on the luxury train gives the movie capable underdogs who already understand difficult passengers.

The first-class attendants are Amber, played by Brooke Lynn Hytes; Alli, played by Marcia Marcia Marcia; and elaborately named Ayshleiygh, played by Symone. Chris Parnell appears as Conductor Davenport, while Latrice Royale turns the recurring worker Barbra into a running joke across different locations.

The first-class attendants and cameos fill out the spoof

The passenger list adds Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Joel McHale, Paul Scheer and other familiar faces. Michelle Visage appears as a reporter, Charo plays a traffic controller, Brian Jordan Alvarez plays Cal and Drew Droege appears as an especially privileged passenger.

The crowded ensemble serves the format rather than creating a realistic railway. Each performer gets a distinct comic function, from Gagwell’s command-room panic to the first-class trio’s polished safety routine. Tess and DeeDee remain the through line connecting those separate sketches. Their friendship keeps the movie grounded when the cameos arrive in quick succession.

That mix makes the film feel like a feature-length ensemble challenge with a real disaster plot underneath it for viewers. Which cast member delivered your favorite moment aboard the Glamazonian Express? Tell us in the comments.
