People who pay for extra cloud storage from Apple just got a nice upgrade to one of the service’s hidden features. Instead of sticking with a basic email address, iCloud+ members can use their own custom domain name for their inbox. While this perk has been around for a while, a recent update gives users significantly more room to create unique addresses for themselves or their family members.
Apple increases the custom email address limit to ten accounts
For a long time, the iCloud plus subscription allowed you to set up three personalized email addresses per custom domain. This feature is great because it lets you drop the standard endings and use a domain you own at no additional cost. However, the limit of three addresses was sometimes too small for small businesses or larger households trying to get everyone on the same domain.
According to a recent discovery shared on X by a user named pdfu, the company quietly bumped that limit up. You can now build up to ten personalized email addresses for each custom domain attached to your account. This is a big step up for people who manage an online business and need different addresses for support, billing, and general contact.

It also makes things easier for families sharing a single domain name. Since the feature is baked right into the subscription plan, you do not need to pay a third-party email host just to look professional online. If you already have a domain ready to go, the setup process takes only a few minutes right inside your account settings.
