Several M5 MacBook Air configurations are $200 off during Amazon’s fall Prime Day event. The 13-inch model with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage is $1,099, down from its current $1,299 list price.
Amazon’s M5 MacBook Air listing showed the reduced price on October 6. Selected 1TB and 24GB configurations also carry $200 discounts, although color and delivery availability differ.
The base sale price effectively returns the 13-inch computer to the price Apple charged before its midyear increase. It is not the model’s lowest historical price, but it is the strongest widely available discount seen in recent months.

Check the screen size and storage
The 13-inch version is the more portable choice. The 15-inch model offers additional workspace but costs more at an equivalent configuration. Both use the same M5 family, so the decision is mainly about display size, weight and price rather than a faster chip.
Apple now starts the M5 Air with 512GB of storage, as MacObserver explained when the current configuration and pricing changed. Buyers interested in gaming can also review our M5 MacBook Air game benchmarks.
These are U.S. sale prices and can change during the event. Select the intended memory, storage, color and screen size before checking out, because Amazon can switch the displayed offer when a configuration changes.
Amazon’s return window and AppleCare eligibility should also be checked on the order page, especially if the Mac is being purchased as a gift. AppleCare is not included in the advertised price.
