Apple has announced that The Morning Show will end with its upcoming fifth season. The final chapter of the Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon drama will premiere on Apple TV in 2027.
The Morning Show debuted in November 2019 as one of the first original series released alongside the launch of Apple TV+. It quickly became a major title for the streaming service, supported by its high-profile cast and stories focused on television journalism, workplace power and public scandals.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will return as Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson. Both stars also serve as executive producers and have remained central to the series throughout its run.
Apple has not announced an exact premiere date for Season 5. However, the company has confirmed that the final episodes will arrive sometime in 2027. The fourth season premiered in September 2025 and concluded after 10 episodes on November 19, 2025.
New and Returning Cast Members
The final season will bring back several familiar cast members, including Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell and Jon Hamm.
Several actors will also join the show for its last season. The new and expanded cast includes Jeff Daniels, Jesse Williams, Lizzy Caplan, Reneé Rapp and Sean Hayes. Details about their characters and storylines remain limited.
Plot details for Season 5 have not been revealed. The final episodes are expected to continue the personal and professional conflicts surrounding Alex, Bradley and the changing television news industry.
All four existing seasons of The Morning Show are available to stream on Apple TV. The fifth and final season will arrive in 2027.
