Duke begins the episode determined to force Zeek and Cece Marshall into contacting their father, Kingsley. His plan involves putting more pressure on the family until they feel they have nowhere else to turn, and he convinces Lazaro that attacking the Marshall casino can help achieve that goal.

The plan quickly creates problems for Duke. Jay refuses to help once he learns that Duke intends to bomb the casino because innocent people could die. Duke goes ahead with Lazaro, although his hesitation becomes clear when he spots a security guard near the bomb and returns to save him before the explosion.

That moment shows how far Duke has travelled since returning to London while also revealing that he still has limits.

Duke gets closer to Zeek

The bombing works in Duke’s favour because Zeek immediately suspects the Russians. Duke encourages those fears and suggests that Kingsley should return to deal with the growing threat.

However, Zeek reveals something important. The family does not know where Kingsley is. He then asks Duke to join the fight against the Russians and hands him a gun, leaving Duke directly involved in the conflict he helped create.

Meanwhile, Cece remains suspicious of Duke. She discovers that Simeon followed Duke before his disappearance, although Duke lies when she questions him. Her secret relationship with Nikolai also becomes more dangerous as tensions between the Marshalls and Russians continue to rise.

Kim’s investigation adds another threat. She reveals that her search for Kingsley is personal because her sister disappeared, and she believes Kingsley was responsible. She now hopes Duke can lead her to him.

The episode also brings Duke and Joy back together when they sleep together at the gym, although Zeek nearly catches them. Their relationship gives Duke another personal connection to the family he is trying to destroy.

Fightland Episode 3 ends with Duke holding Zeek’s gun and moving deeper into the gang conflict. With the Marshalls blaming the Russians and Duke quietly feeding their suspicions, his revenge plan is working, but the consequences are becoming harder to control.
