Cage took on the role of Ben Reilly, a gritty private investigator working in 1930s New York. The eight-episode run ended up being a massive hit with television critics. Despite that clear success, Prime Video chose to drop the superhero project from its future schedule. Many viewers felt sad about losing the chance to explore more of this unique world.
Cage is not holding any grudges against the streaming company. He recently shared his thoughts on the network decision and called the single season a perfect television experience. In his eyes, the cast and crew managed to tell a full story from start to finish without stretching things out unnecessarily.
