Netflix has officially confirmed The Inbetweeners 3, with production now underway in the UK. Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, and Joe Thomas are all returning for the third movie, more than a decade after the last film arrived.
Simon Bird will return as Will McKenzie, James Buckley as Jay Cartwright, Blake Harrison as Neil Sutherland, and Joe Thomas as Simon Cooper. Netflix also released a short announcement teaser showing the four friends reunited around Simon’s familiar yellow Fiat Cinquecento.
The Inbetweeners creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris are also returning to write and direct the new movie. Claire Jones will produce alongside Banijay’s Patrick Holland and Fudge Park Productions’ Mark Lesbirel. Film4 is supporting the project.

The upcoming movie continues the story that began with the British sitcom, which originally aired from 2008 to 2010. The television series was followed by The Inbetweeners Movie in 2011 and The Inbetweeners 2 in 2014. Both films became major UK box office successes.
