Tip Toe Episode 2 is expected on Starz in the U.S. on Friday, October 9, 2026. The next chapter brings Leo Struthers’ suspicion that someone has entered his home into the open. It also puts Clive Goss inside Leo’s workplace, where a neighbor’s quarrel is much harder to keep at a safe distance.
This is a U.S. rollout date, not the episode’s first release anywhere. Russell T Davies’ five-part drama aired in the UK earlier in 2026. Starz began its American run with Episode 1 on October 2, while Episode 2 follows the next Friday. Viewers in other territories should check their local platform rather than assume the Starz calendar applies worldwide.

Leo no longer feels safe in his own house
Episode 1 turns an apparently ordinary favor into the start of a feud. Leo gives his longtime next-door neighbor a spare key, a gesture that depends on trust developed over years. Once that trust breaks down, the same key becomes a source of unease. The Episode 2 synopsis says Leo suspects someone has been inside his home.

The available preview does not establish who entered or what they did. It does show why the suspicion matters: Leo cannot simply shut the door on Clive and forget him. They share a boundary, a history and now a dispute over whether even Leo’s private space is secure. That is a more intimate threat than a public argument across a fence.
Clive’s work brings the conflict to Leo’s bar
Clive is an electrician, and Episode 2 places him at Leo’s bar for work. The move changes the geometry of the feud. Leo’s business on Manchester’s Canal Street is part of his community and identity; having Clive there means the neighbor he distrusts is no longer confined to the house next door.
Listings also say Clive brings his son Saul into the bar and that the sequence leads toward a shocking conclusion. Those details are a warning about escalating stakes, not proof of exactly how the episode resolves. A preview should not turn a broadcaster’s teaser into an invented account of the confrontation.
The next episode tests the boundaries between them
Alan Cumming plays Leo and David Morrissey plays Clive. Their characters have been neighbors for 14 years, which gives even a small slight more weight than a clash between strangers. The spare key, the suspected intrusion and the bar job all concern the same question: how much access should one man have to the other’s life?
Episode 2 should show whether Leo can set a boundary before suspicion becomes open hostility. It may also reveal whether Clive sees his new proximity as ordinary work or another way to press the dispute. That remains to be seen in the U.S. release.
