Apple has updated its homepage with a special animation to mark its 50th anniversary, and the video highlights the company’s most iconic products through a clean sketch art style that moves from the original Mac to the latest devices like iPhone 17 Pro and Vision Pro.
The animation walks through Apple’s journey by showing products such as the iMac, iPod, App Store, and Apple Watch, while keeping the focus on design evolution and how each device shaped the company’s identity over time.
This milestone traces back to April 1, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak started working together in a garage, which later led to the formation of Apple Computer Inc.
Apple shared a message on its homepage:
“50 Years of Thinking Different
At 50 years, it’s only natural to look back. But Apple has always looked forward, building tools and delivering experiences that enrich people’s lives. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we’re inspired by where we’ll go — together.”
The company also hosted global Apple Store events and a private concert featuring Paul McCartney, adding a celebratory tone to this rare moment of reflection.
