Apple Expands Its 40W Dynamic Power Adapter to More Type G Regions

Apple has expanded its 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max to more countries, bringing the compact charger to Vietnam and several European markets that use the Type C two-pin Europlug.

The new version uses a retractable two-prong design, which allows the prongs to fold back into the charger when not in use, making it easier to carry in a bag or pocket. Apple first introduced the U.S. version in September 2025 alongside the iPhone 17 lineup, followed by a Type G version in November.

The adapter is now available in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Vietnam. Apple prices it at €45 in most eurozone markets.
