Apple Offers Free Two-Hour Delivery for Last-Minute Holiday Shoppers

Apple has started offering free two-hour delivery on select products for last-minute holiday shopping. The option applies to eligible, in-stock items and runs through December 24. The service covers most major metro areas in the United States and Canada, with three-hour delivery available in Australia.

The offer targets shoppers who need gifts fast and want to avoid store visits. Orders ship from nearby retail locations, which means availability depends on local stock. If the item is not in a nearby store, the option does not appear at checkout.

In a note by Apple, the company says the two-hour delivery usually costs $9 but is currently free for qualifying orders. Apple relies on courier partners such as Uber Eats and Postmates to complete these deliveries. The company describes it as a way to get products “the way you want” with “fast delivery” from local stores.

Qualified Products

The delivery option covers popular devices like iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple TV, and Beats headphones. However, there are limits. Custom-configured Macs, engraved products, and most accessories do not qualify. Some accessories still arrive by December 24 using express shipping instead.

Next-day delivery remains free for in-stock Macs, iPads, iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watch models. Apple also continues to offer free two-day delivery on many other items, depending on location.

Returns and pickup options

Apple is also keeping its extended holiday return policy in place. You can return items purchased during this period until January 6, 2026. This gives you extra time if a gift misses the mark.

If delivery does not work for you, in-store pickup remains available. Apple says the process is “easy” and is guided through email updates and notifications. The company also provides instructions for trade-in returns and optional online setup sessions.

For shoppers on a tight deadline, Apple’s two-hour delivery offer removes some of the holiday stress and keeps gift buying simple.
