Apple has pushed out a second version of iOS 26.4 beta 3 for iPhone testers, three days after the first beta 3 release, so if you already installed beta 3 earlier this week, you will now see another update waiting.
This is a reissued build, not a brand-new beta number, and the main difference you can see up front is the build string, which now changes to 23E5223k from 23E5223f.

People usually see these quick re-releases when a bug or install issue shows up in the earlier build and needs a fast fix, and the update is already rolling out as an over-the-air download inside Software Update.
How to update in short steps
- Open Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- If you do not see it, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates, choose the iOS 26 Developer Beta track, then go back and refresh Software Update
- Tap Update Now (or Download and Install)
- Keep your iPhone on Wi-Fi and connected to power until the install finishes
Changes in iOS 26.4 beta 3
This second build keeps the same beta 3 feature set, so most people should expect fixes and stability work rather than obvious new UI changes.
Across iOS 26.4 so far, the update continues testing a handful of notable additions, including updated Apple Music views, an AI-focused playlist feature, and new per-device Personal Hotspot usage reporting.
iOS 26.4 testing also includes work around end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging and other ongoing system changes that have been appearing across the beta cycle.
If you installed the earlier iOS 26.4 beta 3 build, check your version string after updating so you know you are on the reissued release.
Let us know in the comments if you noticed anything different after installing the second build of iOS 26.4 beta 3.
