Apple has rolled out visionOS 26.3 Public Beta 2, giving Vision Pro testers the next build in the 26.3 cycle. The first visionOS 26.3 beta arrived in mid-December as build 23N5588c, and the new beta updates that to build 23N5602d.
Public beta users are getting the same general wave of “beta 2” updates Apple pushed after its holiday pause.
How to update visionOS 26.3 Public Beta 2
- Open Settings on Apple Vision Pro.
- Tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Choose Beta Updates, then select the visionOS Public Beta track (if it is not already selected).
- Download and install the update.
Changes in beta 2
This looks like a smaller refinement build rather than a feature drop, with early reports pointing to Safari and video playback polish.
Key tweaks spotted so far include: Fullscreen video now dims your surroundings and Video Viewer mode gets reliability fixes in certain cases.
