At this stage, Apple usually focuses on polishing performance, fixing bugs, and tightening up smaller features rather than adding a long list of big changes.

Changes in watchOS 26.4

So far, there do not appear to be any major new user-facing additions in beta 4. This release looks like a refinement update, which is normal this late in the beta cycle. That means the focus is likely on stability, bug fixes, and overall performance ahead of a wider rollout.

One of the more notable watchOS 26.4 changes introduced earlier in the beta cycle is a new Average Bedtime metric tied to sleep tracking. It gives users a clearer view of bedtime patterns and syncs with the Health app, which should help people understand how sleep timing affects overall rest quality. That feature remains one of the main watchOS 26.4 additions as Apple continues testing the update.

With beta 4 now out, the update looks like it is entering the final stretch. Unless Apple adds something unexpected in a later seed, this version will likely be remembered more for cleanup and tuning than for headline features. Let us know in the comments what you have noticed in watchOS 26.4 beta 4.
