Nvidia has upgraded GeForce Now for Apple Vision Pro, and the update brings faster gameplay with better visuals for users on its highest subscription tier. Players can now stream games at up to 90 frames per second, which improves motion smoothness and makes fast-paced titles feel more responsive inside the headset.
This update works alongside Apple Vision Pro’s hardware capabilities, as the newer M5 version supports up to 120Hz refresh rates while the original M2 model supports up to 100Hz. That means the headset can handle higher frame rates, and Nvidia’s Ultimate tier now takes advantage of that with a 90FPS streaming option.
According to UploadVR, GeForce Now Ultimate subscribers also get higher resolution streaming on Apple Vision Pro compared to other headsets. The report notes that users can push streaming up to 4K at 90FPS in Custom mode, while Quest and Pico headsets are limited to 1440p at the same frame rate.
Ultimate tier
Nvidia continues to split GeForce Now into three plans, and the Ultimate tier leads with the most advanced features.
- Streams at up to 90FPS on supported headsets
- Supports up to 4K resolution on Apple Vision Pro
- Uses RTX 5080-level performance for demanding titles
- Offers longer session times and no ads
On Balanced mode, users get 1080p at 90FPS by default, but switching to Custom mode unlocks higher resolution options depending on the headset.
More games and VR support coming
Nvidia is also working with Apple to expand gaming support on Vision Pro through visionOS 26.4. X-Plane and iRacing will gain official support using PC VR streaming, which adds more high-end gaming options to the platform.
GeForce Now already lets users stream games they own from stores like Steam and Epic Games without needing a gaming PC, and this update makes Apple Vision Pro a stronger option for cloud gaming.
