Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4 and AirPods 5: Still No Published UK Price Six Days Before Launch

Apple has published starting prices for iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo on all ten of the storefronts we track, but its Apple Watch and AirPods prices have holes, and the largest one is British. Six days before Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 reach stores, there is no UK price for any of the three in an Apple release or page we can cite.

The gap is in Apple’s publishing rather than in the schedule. All three products have been orderable since September 9 and all three go on sale on Friday, September 18, the same day as the new iPhones. Apple UK’s newsroom carries the iPhone Duo release, and the UK store lists both iPhones at Ā£1,199 and Ā£1,299, so the country is not being treated as a late market.

One caution on the Singapore row: Apple’s own Singapore page gives two sets of AirPods 5 figures, S$199 and S$219 in its pricing section against lower numbers earlier in the same release. Treat the pricing section as the figure to check at checkout.

The UK is missing three of six prices

Of the six products Apple introduced on September 9, the UK has published prices for two, both iPhones, plus the iPhone Duo case at £79 and the Folio with Kickstand at £129. Series 12, Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 have none. A British buyer can order all three today and will see a price in the store, but Apple has put no figure on a page that can be quoted back to it.

Germany and France are a milder version of the same pattern. Both have euro prices for the Watch line and for both iPhones, and neither has a published AirPods 5 figure.

What Apple has priced in no market at all

  • Apple Watch Series 12 beyond the starting figure. The 46mm case, titanium, ceramic and cellular versions carry no published price in any of the ten markets, in any currency.
  • Apple Watch bands, including the new Series 12 and Ultra 4 colours, and the HermĆØs models.
  • The 60W-class power adapter behind Apple’s 15-minute half-charge claim, which none of the ten storefronts prices.
  • AppleCare+ for any September 2026 product. The only published figures are AppleCare One at $19.99 a month and AppleCare One Family at $49.99 a month from September 14.

Do not budget by converting the US figure

US list prices exclude sales tax, while the UK, German, French, Japanese, Indian, Australian and Singapore figures are quoted with tax included. Converting $399 or $129 into your own currency therefore produces a number that is too low before you have added anything, which is why the published local figure matters more than the exchange rate.

It also means the missing UK numbers cannot be reconstructed. A pound figure derived from $399 would be a guess, and Apple’s own euro pricing shows why: France pays 30 euros more than Germany for an iPhone 18 Pro at every storage tier while both pay exactly 449 euros for a Series 12.

What has not been confirmed

Apple has not published a UK price for Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 or AirPods 5, a German or French AirPods 5 price, a per-configuration Watch price in any market, a band price, an adapter price or an AppleCare+ price for any of the new products. It has also published no explanation for the Singapore discrepancy and no per-order delivery date for any market.

All three products go on sale on Friday, September 18, alongside iPhone 18 Pro. watchOS 27 and iOS 27 arrive first, free, on Monday, September 14.
