According to recent reports, Apple plans two versions:
- Tabletop model: A floating display above a metal speaker base, available in gray, silver, starlight, and rose.
- Wall-mounted model: A compact display with a square mounting plate, available in gray and silver.
HomeView is also expected to support selected Apple apps, although reports indicate it will lack a dedicated third-party App Store. You can read our complete Apple HomeView preview for more details.
2. HomePod mini 2
Apple’s second-generation HomePod mini is expected to replace the original model’s S5 processor with the much faster S10 chip. The upgrade should improve responsiveness while retaining the familiar compact design.
New green, pink, blue, white, and midnight finishes are reportedly planned, with availability expected on October 30. Our HomePod mini 2 report covers the latest hardware and release details.
3. New Apple TV 4K
The next Apple TV 4K is expected to feature Apple’s A19 processor, delivering faster performance and expanded Siri AI capabilities.
Rumored changes include:
- An A19 chip with 8GB of memory.
- Built-in microphones for hands-free Siri commands.
- A redesigned Siri Remote with a speaker to help locate it.

4. New Smart Home Accessories
Apple is reportedly preparing an Apple Home Collection with partners including LG and Schneider Electric. Expected accessories include smart doorbells, locks, thermostats, temperature sensors, and indoor and outdoor security cameras.
These products should integrate with Apple’s Home platform, although availability and compatibility details remain unconfirmed.
Where to Watch Apple’s October 13 Event
Apple has scheduled a private media event rather than a traditional livestreamed keynote. Announcements are expected through the Apple Newsroom and Apple’s official channels starting around 9 a.m. ET.
The HomePod mini 2 and Apple TV 4K are reportedly scheduled for October 30, followed by HomeView around mid-November. Apple has yet to confirm final pricing, configurations, or shipping dates.
