It seems that Apple Pay support is rolling out in Walmart stores across Canada as terminals receive contactless payment readers.

Walmart has long been a major holdout for Apple Pay, instead preferring its own Walmart Pay using QR codes. If stores in Canada can receive support for contactless payments, it’s possible it will also come to the United States in the future, but that is yet unknown.

The move means that Apple customers can get 2% cash back on all of their Walmart purchases when paired with an Apple Card.
