Enola Holmes 3 is now streaming on Netflix, but its first-week viewership has raised a big question: is Enola Holmes 4 still a safe bet?

Where The Story Goes
Spoilers ahead.
The third movie moves Enola’s story from London to Malta, where Enola Holmes and Lord Tewkesbury are preparing for their wedding. The celebration does not last long, as Sherlock Holmes is kidnapped and Enola is forced back into detective mode.
The movie gives fans more romance, more danger, and a larger international setting. It also pushes Enola into a more mature phase of life, where personal choices and family loyalty collide.
Enola Holmes 3 Viewership Drops From The Second Movie
Netflix’s latest global Top 10 data shows that Enola Holmes 3 opened with 20.7 million views and ranked No. 1 among English-language films for the week.
That sounds strong, but the comparison with Enola Holmes 2 is not as positive. The second movie opened with 29.3 million views in its first week. That means the third movie is down by around 29% on raw numbers.
The bigger concern is the release window. Enola Holmes 2 arrived on a Friday and had only three days counted in its opening week. Enola Holmes 3 arrived on a Wednesday, giving it five days to collect views.
When the daily average is compared, the drop is much sharper. The second movie averaged around 9.8 million views per day, while the third averaged around 4.1 million views per day. That puts the decline close to 58%.
Could Enola Holmes 4 Be In Doubt?
Netflix has not announced Enola Holmes 4 yet. The franchise still has big names, a loyal audience, and Millie Bobby Brown remains one of Netflix’s most important stars.
Still, the lower opening makes the next decision more interesting. A fourth movie will depend on how well Enola Holmes 3 holds in the coming weeks. If the movie stays strong in the Top 10, Netflix has a reason to continue. If it drops quickly, the streamer may think more carefully before moving ahead.
For now, Enola Holmes 3 is a successful No. 1 debut, but it has not matched the momentum of the previous film.
