Lenovo appears ready to challenge Apple’s colorful MacBook Neo with the upcoming IdeaPad Vibe, a budget Windows laptop that combines a simple design, seven color options, and a much wider selection of ports.
The leaked images also point to both Snapdragon and AMD versions, giving buyers a choice between ARM and x86 hardware.

Windows Latest obtained images of the unreleased Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe, showing the laptop in blush pink, bright yellow, terracotta, sage green, navy blue, silver, and mint teal. Lenovo places its logo in the center of the lid and matches its finish with each color, while the keyboard deck remains dark gray across the lineup.
Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe gets more ports than the MacBook Neo
The IdeaPad Vibe uses thin display bezels, a centered webcam with a visible privacy shutter, speaker grilles beside the keyboard, and a large trackpad below it. Lenovo also gives the laptop a practical port selection that makes it easier to connect accessories without carrying extra adapters.
The right side includes two USB-A ports and a power button with a status light, while the left side includes HDMI, two USB-C ports, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. Apple’s MacBook Neo offers two USB-C ports and a headphone jack, giving Lenovo an immediate advantage for users who regularly connect displays, storage devices, or older accessories.
Windows Latest also found references to separate Snapdragon and AMD versions of the IdeaPad Vibe, although exact processors and specifications remain unknown. Lenovo therefore appears to be preparing the same colorful design for both ARM and traditional x86 buyers instead of restricting the new finishes to one configuration.
Lenovo has not announced pricing or a release date yet, but the IdeaPad Vibe already looks positioned as a direct MacBook Neo rival for buyers who want a colorful, affordable laptop with flexible hardware choices and more built-in connectivity.
