The update brings support for the AirPods Max,  allowing users to access the headphone’s high-fidelity audio, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and spatial audio features. The updated Apple TV app now includes the TV+ tab, making it easier to find Apple originals. Furthermore, Apple News widgets are now available via the Notification center. Apple ProRAW images can now be edited in the Photos app.

The App Store gets a bit of a revamp too. Most notably, there is a new privacy information section. Meanwhile, those with a new M1 Mac using iPad or iPhone apps will be able to switch between landscape and portrait view.

Your computer should prompt you to update to macOS Big Sur 11.1. You can also go to System Preferences > Software Update.
