Microsoft Edge is preparing to let users sign in to browser profiles with an Apple Account, giving Mac and Windows users another way to access Edge without creating or using a Microsoft Account.
The feature has appeared in recent Edge Canary builds and is also starting to reach some Edge Beta users through a controlled rollout.

The change adds Apple Account support directly to Edge profiles, which means users will eventually be able to connect their existing Apple credentials when setting up or signing in to the browser. Microsoft is also testing a dedicated Apple sign-in button inside the Edge profile menu, similar to the Google Account option already available in the browser.
Microsoft Edge adds Apple Account sign-in support
Tecnoblog reported that user Leopeva64 found two new experimental flags in the latest Edge Canary build, with one enabling Apple Account sign-in and another adding the Apple sign-in button to the profile menu.
The first flag, called “Sign in with Apple,” allows users to sign in to an Edge profile with an Apple Account on macOS and Windows. The second flag enables the Apple sign-in button inside the profile flyout, although the main Apple sign-in flag must also remain enabled for the option to work.
Microsoft has also listed Apple Account sign-in in the release notes for Edge Beta version 152, confirming that the feature is rolling out on both Windows and macOS. However, Microsoft is using a controlled rollout, so some Beta users may not see the option yet.
Once Microsoft completes the rollout, Apple users will have a simpler way to sign in to Edge while continuing to use the Apple Account they already rely on across their devices.
