Spotify launches weekly Audiobook Charts for US and UK users

Spotify May Let You Edit Your 'Taste Profile' With Written Notes

Spotify has launched a new Audiobook Charts feature in the United States and United Kingdom, expanding its push into the books space and giving users a clearer way to discover popular and trending audiobook titles on the platform.

The feature is available starting today for both Free and Premium users, and it highlights the most listened-to audiobooks overall and by genre, with rankings updated weekly based on listening behavior and engagement.

The new charts live inside the Audiobooks hub in the Spotify app, where users can tap Search, select the Audiobooks tile, and scroll to the “Dive deeper” section to explore the latest rankings. Spotify says the goal is to make finding your next book easier by showing what people are actively listening to right now.

In its announcement, Spotify said:

“Audiobook Charts for the U.S. and U.K. are now accessible to Free and Premium users within the Audiobooks hub. In the Spotify app, tap Search and select the ‘Audiobooks’ tile to enter the hub. From there, scroll down to the ‘Dive deeper’ shelf to find the charts.”

The company added:

“This launch is designed to benefit the entire audiobook ecosystem. For book lovers, charts provide a trusted guide to the titles people are listening to right now.”

Spotify believes these “trusted guide” rankings will help authors and publishers reach new audiences while building stronger fan communities around their stories.

This update follows recent audiobook features such as Page Match, which syncs your place between print or e-book and audio versions, and Recaps, short audio summaries that help you catch up quickly.
