Apple CEO Tim Cook and Apple’s SVP of Services and Health Eddy Cue have arrived in Idaho for the 2026 Sun Valley Conference, where major leaders from technology, media, finance, and business are gathering for several days of private meetings and public arrivals.
The annual conference is known for bringing top executives together at the Sun Valley Lodge Spa, where informal conversations often attract attention because of the powerful names involved. This year’s event is expected to run through July 11, and several major figures have already reached the venue.

Cook and Cue are among the Apple executives seen at the event, while John Ternus has also joined the conference after earlier expectations that he would attend. Ternus’ presence draws interest because Apple is heading toward a major leadership change in the future, and his name has often been linked with the company’s next phase.
The guest list also includes YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, OpenAI chairman Bret Taylor, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, GM CEO Mary Barra, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang.
Another arrival that caught attention was IAC chairman Barry Diller, who reached the venue on what appeared to be a blue Trek Verve+ 3 electric bike, continuing his familiar habit of cycling around the conference.
With Cook, Cue, and Ternus present, Apple’s attendance at Sun Valley 2026 gives the event another major tech storyline.
