Apple has released visionOS 26.2 for all Apple Vision Pro users. The update follows the release candidate shared earlier this month and is now available to everyone with build number 23N301.
This is a point update, so it focuses on refinements rather than a major redesign. Still, visionOS 26.2 brings useful improvements aimed at travel use and creative workflows on Vision Pro.
How to update visionOS 26.2
- Put on Apple Vision Pro and open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Select visionOS 26.2, then tap Download and Install.
- Take off the headset during installation and track progress on the front display.
What’s new in visionOS 26.2
- Travel Mode now works in cars and buses, expanding support beyond earlier travel scenarios.
- Hand-drawn input support arrives for compatible spatial accessories, including supported creative tools.
- Tables in Freeform make it easier to organize ideas and information in a structured layout.
26.2 major changes
The most noticeable update is the expanded Travel Mode. Vision Pro can now handle more movement scenarios, making on-the-go use more stable and predictable.
Apple has also focused on creativity. Support for hand-drawn input and structured tables in Freeform pushes Vision Pro further toward planning, sketching, and whiteboard-style work in a spatial environment.
