Apple’s visionOS 26.4 beta cycle is moving along, and the company has now seeded visionOS 26.4 developer beta 3 for Apple Vision Pro testing. This is the third test build in the 26.4 line, arriving about a week after beta 2.
This drop targets developers who need to validate apps, performance, and compatibility ahead of the public release, especially as Apple continues to tune system behavior between beta builds.
Today’s update is listed as visionOS 26.4 beta 3 (build 23O5225f).
How to update
- Open Settings on Apple Vision Pro
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- If you do not see the beta, confirm your device is signed in with an Apple ID that has developer beta access, then check again
- Download and install the update, then keep the headset on charge until the install finishes
The update installs through Settings like other visionOS betas.
Changes in visionOS 26.4 beta 3
Apple has not highlighted big, user-facing additions with this specific beta drop, so expect the usual beta mix of stability work, bug fixes, and under-the-hood tuning. Coverage of the 26.4 cycle so far also suggests most visible additions landed earlier, with later betas focusing on refinement.
One notable capability already tied to visionOS 26.4 is NVIDIA CloudXR support with foveated streaming, which can help certain streaming and immersive workflows deliver higher-resolution content more efficiently, and developers should continue testing that behavior across betas.
