watchOS 26.3 Public Beta 2 Now Live for Apple Watch Users

Apple Releases watchOS 26.3 beta 1 for Developers

Apple has released watchOS 26.3 Public Beta 2, giving testers the next update in the 26.3 cycle. Apple first kicked off watchOS 26.3 testing in mid December with beta 1, then returned after the holiday break with beta 2.

This new public build matches the latest developer seed, and it arrives as build 23S5600d.

How to update (quick steps)

  1. Keep your Apple Watch on its charger and make sure it has at least 50% battery.
  2. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
  3. Tap General > Software Update.
  4. Download and install watchOS 26.3 Public Beta 2.

Changes

So far, watchOS 26.3 has looked like a smaller release with fewer visible additions. Public Beta 2 continues that trend.

Expect work that sits under the surface, such as bug fixes, stability improvements, and performance tuning. If you notice a specific change, it is worth checking whether it shows up in a particular app or watch face, since smaller updates often land that way.
