    4. Block unwanted pop-up ads and redirects: Go to Google Chrome Menu > Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Pop-ups and Redirects. Choose Don’t Allow Sites To Send Pop-ups Or Use Redirects. Click the three dots next to any suspicious websites and choose Block.

    3.2. For Firefox

    1. Disable and remove unwanted extensions: Open the Firefox menu > Add-ons and Themes > Extensions. Toggle off any extensions you don’t use. Click the three dots next to the extensions you want to delete and select Remove.

    2. Clear your browsing data: Go to Firefox Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data > Clear.

    3. Block unwanted permissions and pop-up windows: Go to Firefox Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security > Permissions. Click Settings for each permission. Delete any questionable sites from the list. Checkmark Block pop-up windows and Warn You When Websites Try To Install Add-ons.

    1. Disable and remove unwanted extensions: Open the Safari menu > Settings > Extensions. Select and Uninstall suspicious extensions.
