Apple released new iPod touch models on Wednesday with significant updates. The new model includes a faster 64-bit processor, the M8 fitness chip that's in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, 128GB storage, an 8 megapixel camera, and new colors including gold.

The new sixth generation iPod touch sports the same A8 processor as the iPhone 6, 802.11 AC WiFi, improved the camera sensors, added photo burst and slow motion modes along with cinematic video stabilization. The front-facing camera now supports burst mode, too.

The new iPod touch ships with iOS 8.4 and Apple Music already installed. The color choices now include a darker blue and darker pink, as well as gold, red and space gray.

Along with new iPod touch models, Apple also updated the iPod shuffle and iPod nano. Neither gets new features, but they both get the same blue, pink, and gold color updates as the iPod touch.

Pricing for the sixth generation iPod touch starts at US$199 for 16GB storage, $249 for 32GB storage, $299 for 64GB storage, and $399 for 128GB storage. Pricing for the other iPod models is unchanged with the shuffle at $49 and the nano at $149.
