Subject: We don't need to check back

Early this morning CNN reported the iPhone rumors as facts, as if Apple had already issued a press release. Now those rumors may prove to be true, but until Apple says something then rumors are just that, rumors. Hell, we may hear about OSXI or something other than an iPhone.

That being said I am anxious to hear Steve's keynote. After a breakfast of mackerel I will be waiting with "baited" breath for the big announcement.

That's the kind of poor reporting that needs to be reported by the public. These kinds of things may seem small and petty, but they add up to the assumption that bigger subjects can be broached as fact with little or no journalistic integrity. Fox already elected a president, next they will be starting a war... Oh, wait. Never mind.
