Extensis announced the immediate availability of Suitcase Fusion 3 on Tuesday. The new version of the font management utility includes font auto-activation for InDesign CS5, Illustrator CS5 and Photoshop CS5, and also supports WebINK’s font rental service for Web site designs.
Along with the Adobe Creative Suite applications, Suitcase Fusion supports font auto-activation in other programs such as QuarkXPress 7 and 8, and Microsoft Office.
Suitcase Fusion 3 also includes QuickMatch for finding similar fonts in your library, Font Snapshot for sharing PNG previews of fonts, a Web preview for checking fonts used in Web designs, and a font cache cleaner for Adobe’s Creative Suite, QuarkXPress, Mac OS X system fonts, and Microsoft Office.
Like earlier versions of Suitcase Fusion, version 3 also includes FontDoctor for repairing corrupt fonts.
Suitcase Fusion 3 is priced at US$99.95 and includes a free one year WebINK subscription. Upgrades from earlier versions cost $49.95.
