I dealt with AppleCare a few days ago. One of the pre-recorded messages up front was odd. It stated “please be kind to our customer services representatives.” I found out there is a good reason they have added that. I didn’t know that AppleCare turned from what was great customer service and coverage to what it is now. I talked to the first person, told him I had an issue with my magnetic plug. So he transferred me to a supervisor which never happened in the past. After not knowing that AppleCare turned into paying approximately $249 for a total of 3 years coverage but then they have added the $99 copay. The very worst thing is that the supervisor hung up on me. Unfortunately Apple doesn’t care about loyal customers (bought them since 2000) so I have decided never buy another Apple product which I have always loved in the past.
