Apple’s Budget MacBook Name Leaks as “MacBook Neo”, Launching Tomorrow

Apple Reportedly Expects Low-End MacBook to Be an “Incredible Value”

Apple appears to have briefly revealed the name of its rumored lower-cost MacBook just days before its expected announcement, and the listing pointed to a new model called “MacBook Neo (Model A3404).”

The listing did not include images or detailed specifications, but reports point to a 12.9 inch display and an iPhone class chip such as the A18 Pro or A19 Pro instead of an M series processor. The device is also rumored to launch in bright colors like yellow, green, blue, and pink, which aligns with the playful “Neo” branding.

According to Apple’s regulatory website, a document for Model A3404 appeared with a link that referenced “MacBook Neo,” although the name did not appear inside the PDF itself.

Apple later removed the link shortly after it surfaced. The new model is expected to debut through a press release, with hands-on sessions planned at Apple Experience gatherings in New York, London, and Shanghai. Pricing estimates range from $599 to $799.
