Apple has already started the iOS 26.4 beta cycle for developers and public testers, and now it has pushed a smaller update to everyone on the stable track. iOS 26.3.1 is rolling out for iPhone users, and you can install it over the air from the Settings app.
This looks like a minor point release, so you should expect a short download and a quick install compared with a major update. Apple also says iOS 26.3.1 adds support for the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR, alongside other fixes.

- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- Tap Download and Install
- Enter your passcode, then accept the terms, and keep your iPhone on Wi-Fi and power until it finishes

The phone screens are ridiculously clumsy to navigate. Users already had some filtering capabilities, but now, we have NO CHOICE but to filter. Annoying. Considering going rogue with my next phone purchase. If you can’t take it back to the way it was, I’ll definitely be checking out other models.
I’ve worked in IT for 50 years and used a variety of Windows and iPhones since they came on the market. Yet I have no idea what “filtering capabilities” refers to here and would appreciate examples of how the “phone screens are ridiculously clumsy to navigate”. I’m not disputing these statements, would just like to understand what they actually mean.
