Apple Releases New iOS 26.5 Release Candidate With New Build Number

iOS 26.5 beta release date expected soon. Here’s what to expect, including Siri AI updates and whether features are delayed further.

Apple has released a new iOS 26.5 Release Candidate update for Public Beta users. The latest build number is 23F77, replacing last week’s Release Candidate build 23F75. This usually means Apple has fixed a few last-minute bugs or stability issues before the final public rollout.

The update is now available for eligible iPhones enrolled in the iOS Public Beta program. Apple has not shared detailed patch notes for the new build yet, but the release appears to focus on refinements and final polishing ahead of the stable iOS 26.5 release.

What’s New in iOS 26.5

iOS 26.5 includes several smaller changes and improvements across the system. The update adds support for end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging in beta for supported carriers, a new Pride Luminance wallpaper, and Suggested Places recommendations inside Apple Maps.

Apple is also preparing Maps for sponsored place suggestions and ads. The update further improves compatibility features for third-party accessories in the EU, including Live Activities and notification support.

Other additions spotted during beta testing include new subscription billing options for App Store developers, easier Bluetooth pairing for Magic accessories through USB-C, and various bug fixes, security patches, and performance improvements throughout the system.

Apple is expected to release the final public version of iOS 26.5 very soon if no major issues are found in this latest Release Candidate build. We’ll update you if more features or hidden changes are discovered. If you installed the new build, let us know your experience in the comments.
