Spoilers for The Sisters Grimm follow. Mirror is the enchanted mirror who lives in the Grimm family home and acts as an adviser, guide and occasional magical problem-solver. Sabrina trusts him because he repeatedly helps her and Daphne survive Ferryport Landing, even when her instinct is to doubt almost every Everafter they meet.
That trust matters more in Season 2 because Sabrina is no longer merely learning that fairy-tale characters are real. She is trying to decide which of them can be treated as friends. Mirror earns a place close to the sisters by offering knowledge without demanding that Sabrina surrender her judgment.

Mirror is the Grimm house’s magical adviser
Mirror is voiced by Harry Trevaldwyn and is part of the unusual household Sabrina and Daphne enter after moving in with Granny Relda. Unlike an ordinary reflection, he can speak, produce magic and connect the girls to information that would otherwise remain hidden from them. Apple’s Season 2 publicity places Mirror alongside Sabrina, Daphne and Puck, confirming that he remains part of the central team.

His value is practical. Ferryport Landing is governed by old stories, secret bargains and rival Everafters. Sabrina cannot solve those problems through suspicion alone. Mirror understands the rules of that world and can point her toward answers, while Granny Relda supplies the family history that Sabrina never learned from her parents.
Sabrina’s trust is earned through actions
Sabrina begins the series resistant to magic and deeply protective of Daphne. Adults and foster homes have failed them, so she treats every new promise as a possible trap. Mirror becomes important because his help is visible. He assists the sisters during the crisis involving Granny Relda and continues to stand with the household after that immediate danger passes.
Trust does not mean Sabrina believes Mirror is incapable of keeping secrets. It means she judges him by what he does when the family is threatened. He gives the sisters access to the magical world without trying to replace their choices, a distinction that separates him from characters who want to use the Grimm legacy for themselves.
Season 2 turns an ally into part of the family
Mirror also reflects the show’s larger idea that family can be chosen. Sabrina and Daphne arrive in Ferryport Landing believing they have lost almost everyone. Their circle gradually expands to include Granny Relda, Puck and Mirror, despite Sabrina’s understandable resistance.
That is why Sabrina trusts Mirror: not because magic makes him automatically reliable, but because he has repeatedly used it to help the Grimms. Season 2 can test that bond, yet its foundation is already stronger than a simple alliance of convenience. Do you think Sabrina should trust Mirror completely? Share your view in the comments.
