With the iPhone Duo launch just days away, preparations are visibly underway at Apple‘s flagship location on Fifth Avenue. Even though the device officially drops this Friday, onlookers spotted massive structures wrapped in black cloth and white plastic surrounding the iconic glass cube entrance.
The wrapped installations spark excitement as buyers wait for launch day
The shapes hidden under the protective material strongly resemble giant versions of the new foldable phone. The company has a history of creating special displays for major releases at this specific store. In the past, they lit the glass cube in unique colors for the iPhone 16 launch and built giant “Pro” and “Air” models last year.
Right now, there are no physical lines forming outside the Fifth Avenue location, even though people have started lining up at other stores. The company confirmed that US retail stores will only have a limited amount of stock available for walk-in customers on Friday. Meanwhile, buyers in markets like Japan, France, and mainland China must order online and pick up their devices in-store. As the Friday launch approaches, these large installations add to the buzz surrounding the highly anticipated device.
