Apple has officially released iPadOS 27.2 for compatible iPads, bringing new Siri AI capabilities, improved multitasking, and updates to several built-in apps. The update arrived on October 26, 2026, with build number 24B119, alongside iOS 27.2 and other Apple software releases.
The update also improves Messages, Photos, Apple TV, and Podcasts while addressing security vulnerabilities and software bugs. Following several weeks of beta testing, iPadOS 27.2 is now available through the Settings app.
