What happens before Silo Episode 8?

Spoilers for Silo Season 3 Episode 7 follow.

Episode 7, “Radio,” pushed Juliette deeper into the growing crisis inside Silo 18 as she tried to find another way to stop the Safeguard system. Lukas and Kennedy were sent outside as part of the effort to locate the pipe connected to the toxic gas, while Juliette had to reconsider an attack that would put innocent residents at risk.

The episode also continued the “Before Times” storyline with Daniel and Helen, who found themselves dealing with billionaire Per Stensen and his increasingly disturbing plans. His activities in Georgia appear closely connected to the larger mystery surrounding how the silos were eventually created.

Season 3 has been moving between Juliette’s present-day struggle and events hundreds of years earlier, allowing the series to reveal more about the origins of the underground system. The new timeline follows Daniel Keene and journalist Helen Drew as they uncover a conspiracy connected to the world that existed before the silos.

What to expect from Silo Episode 8

“Gray Goo” appears ready to bring Knox’s family history back into focus. Gus revealing a secret could give Knox information connected to events inside the silo, especially as Juliette and her allies continue looking for answers about the systems controlling their lives. Apple has kept the official synopsis deliberately brief, so the exact nature of his confession remains unknown.

Charlotte’s storyline should also move forward significantly. Her “life-changing decision” suggests that the Before Times story is approaching another important turning point, with only two episodes remaining after Episode 8.

Season 3 will continue with Episode 9, “Farewell,” on August 28 before Episode 10 closes the season on September 4.

Silo Episode 8 arrives on Apple TV on August 21, with Juliette’s fight for Silo 18 continuing while the Before Times storyline moves closer to explaining how the underground world began. What do you think Gus will reveal, and what decision will Charlotte make? Let us know in the comments.
