His memories have been suppressed, but his skills remain. Silo 1 uses him as a specialist whenever another silo threatens the system. The episode shows just how dangerous Troy has become when he responds to the rebellion in Silo 17 by ordering the people outside to be killed.
Daniel still experiences flashes of Helen Drew, even though he cannot remember who she is. Victor repeatedly avoids explaining those memories and eventually returns Daniel to cryogenic sleep whenever his past begins resurfacing.
Previous seasons followed Juliette as she investigated the lies surrounding Silo 18, survived being sent outside, discovered the destroyed Silo 17 and returned home as rebellion spread. Season 3 expanded that story by showing Daniel and Helen before the catastrophe while Juliette dealt with memory loss and the Safeguard system in the present.
Silo Season 3 Episode 10 ending explained
Back in Silo 18, Camille appears to follow orders to stop the rebellion, but she secretly helps Juliette. The gas being sent toward the mines is actually oxygen, giving Knox and Shirley enough time to block the Safeguard pipe.
Victor, who has been communicating with Camille as the mysterious voice behind the system, realizes that she fooled him. With Silo 18 now beyond his control, he orders Troy to be awakened before taking his own life.
Juliette later reaches the mysterious door beneath the silo with Knox, Shirley, Camille and Hank. Troy contacts her and offers a deal: Silo 18 will remain safe if Juliette never attempts to communicate with another silo.
Juliette agrees, although she has no intention of keeping that promise. She tells her allies that their next move is to find Silo 1 and take the fight directly to the people controlling them.
The final scene adds another major twist. Troy opens the file Victor left behind and finally learns the identity of the woman appearing in his memories: Helen Drew. Hearing her name begins bringing Daniel’s buried past back to the surface.
That leaves Season 4 with Juliette targeting Silo 1 while Daniel slowly remembers who he really was. Silo 18 has survived the Safeguard, but its fight against the system has only started.
What do you think Juliette will find inside Silo 1, and will Daniel eventually turn against the people controlling him? Let us know in the comments.
