The Lady Greyhounds have started forming separate groups based on their positions, with attackers, midfielders, and defenders increasingly blaming one another. Even though the team has avoided defeat, Ted realizes that the atmosphere inside the squad is becoming a bigger problem.
He cancels training and takes everyone to the Crown & Anchor for a pub quiz, deliberately separating the usual groups. The idea slowly works as players who rarely spend time together begin cooperating.
Things turn chaotic when another quiz team begins making sexist comments toward the Richmond players. The confrontation escalates after beer gets poured over Gemma, Boots responds, and a full pub fight breaks out. The police eventually arrest the players and coaches.
Strangely, the night delivers exactly what Ted wanted. Inside the cells, the positional groups disappear and the Lady Greyhounds finally begin behaving like one team.
Roy takes Keeley’s dating challenge seriously
Elsewhere, Roy tells Keeley that he wants another chance with her. Keeley responds by asking him to go on ten proper dates first, since he has not genuinely dated anyone since their breakup.
Roy attempts to complete several dates in one evening, which predictably falls apart. However, after aggravating his knee, he meets Dr. Erin Beaumont, a specialist whose direct personality immediately catches his attention. By the end of their meeting, Roy wants her number, potentially setting up another complication for Roy and Keeley.
Zelda Southport enters Richmond’s story
Rebecca and Keeley also meet Zelda Southport, played by Tracey Ullman, during a women’s football business summit. Zelda has invested heavily in women’s sports, and Keeley quickly becomes interested in working with her, while Rebecca remains cautious about her history and methods.
That caution becomes more important after Zelda gets the arrested Richmond group released and then turns the incident into publicity by tipping off the media. Her arrival gives Richmond a potentially powerful supporter, although her aggressive approach could create problems later.
The episode closes with another major challenge ahead. Richmond learns that the Lady Greyhounds will face Chelsea at home in the FA Cup, giving the newly united team its first major test.
Ted’s unusual team-building exercise worked, even if nobody planned for a night in jail. With Chelsea coming next and Zelda moving closer to the club, Season 4 now has several storylines ready to collide. What do you think will happen next? Let us know in the comments.
