Many people dream of a job at Apple. The company is trying to make that prospect even more enticing, with an updated ‘Jobs at Apple’ page.  The company is offering “an open invitation to open minds,” the page says. It also features a stunning video, along that same theme. The page also asks potential applicants to “introduce yourself,” and says the company will “get in touch if there‘s a role that seems like a good match.”

Apple introduced the Slofie – the slow-motion selfie, on the iPhone 11. The company even moved to trademark the phrase! It shared a short new video showing how the tool can be used in skiing, in a whiteout.

Truth Be Told is coming to Apple TV+ plus in the near future. It tells the story of Warren Cave, a man who is imprisoned for a murder he may or may have committed. In a video released Thursday, the stars and executive producers of the show explained how Warren develops as the series goes on, and he spends more years in prison. It looks like it is going to be a powerful, moving show.

We all know people have collections, sometimes extensive ones, of Apple gear. They serve as personal archives of what the company has done. There’s an unofficial archive on the web too. It begins with the ‘Introducing the Apple II’ ad from 1977 and ends in 2019 (so far). It includes press releases, products, event details, and more. It really is a great collection of almost everything the company has ever done. The person behind it is Sam Henri Gold. Perhaps one day Apple itself could put together something similar in an official archive!

With the arrival of the Apple Pencil, more and more artists and designers are using their iPad to draw. Braintreehouse, a studio of artists who have worked on shows such as Adventure Time and The Simpsons, created Sketchboard Pro. The stand fits your iPad perfectly and has a slot for the Pencil. It essentially turns your iPad into a classic drawing board. The product launched on Kickstarter and hit its target. The makers brought it to CES this last week. Sketchboard Pro is expected to ship in March 2020. You can pre-order one now at Indigogo for $50.

Apple rolled out Apple Pay Express Transit in London not too long ago. Charlotte headed to the station tested it. She also explained how to set up the service on your phone. It is available in a number of Metro areas and coming to more in the near future.

Apple released another stunning video shot on an iPhone 11 Pro on Saturday. The clip is of fire and ice in various forms. The detail that the device can capture is quite incredible. Apple also posted a longer “Behind the Scenes” video. It showed how the experiment was conducted.

Apple released a new video showing off the ‘Slofie’, a slow-motion selfie, feature on the iPhone 11’s front camera. It is a quick, fun, clip that shows just how the iPhone camera features can make even the most mundane circumstances look glamorous. The video features a track called  “Jet Black” by Channel Tres. In September, Apple moved to trademark the term.

Logitech created a 4K magnetic webcam specifically for Apple’s Pro Display XDR you can use with the 2019 Mac Pro. Apple didn’t include a webcam in the display, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It will be used in environments like music studios where people cover up the webcams anyway. But Logitech’s solution is elegant, with an anodized aluminum finish that won’t look out of place with on Apple device. The magnet is strong enough to stay on even if you put the XDR display in portrait mode, and the screen image will automatically rotate along with it. You can buy it for US$199.
