Walmart has dropped the standard AirPods 4 to $79 during its October Deals and More sale. The promotion cuts roughly $50 from the $129.99 regular price and matches the lowest widely reported price for the earbuds.
The Walmart listing shows the base AirPods 4 at $79. Buyers should confirm that the item is new, sold by Walmart and not a restored or marketplace listing before completing the order.
This deal applies to the standard model without Active Noise Cancellation. The AirPods 4 version with ANC is a different product with a wireless charging case and additional listening features.

What the $79 AirPods include
AirPods 4 use Apple’s open-ear design and include the H2 chip, Voice Isolation, Personalized Spatial Audio and a USB-C charging case. They support Siri interactions and automatic switching across compatible Apple devices.
The open design does not seal the ear like AirPods Pro, which can make it more comfortable for some listeners but allows more outside sound to enter. Anyone who needs active noise cancellation should compare the ANC model or AirPods Pro before choosing solely by price.
Walmart says its October event runs through October 11, but individual inventory can sell out earlier. Amazon has offered a matching price intermittently, although its stock has fluctuated.
The $79 price is a U.S. offer before tax. Delivery, pickup availability and return terms should be checked for the buyer’s location when the order is placed.
The sale does not include the newer AirPods 5 or the noise-cancelling AirPods 4 configuration.
