Netflix has officially renewed Beauty in Black for Season 4, giving fans another chapter of the Bellarie family drama after Season 3’s explosive ending. However, the Beauty in Black Season 4 release date has not been announced yet.
Netflix confirmed the renewal on July 23, 2026, more than a month before Season 3 premiered. Creator Tyler Perry also confirmed that more episodes are coming and said there is still more of the Bellarie family’s story he wants to explore.

Netflix has not confirmed when production on Season 4 will begin or when the new episodes will arrive. With the renewal already secured, a 2027 release appears possible based on the show’s previous schedule, although Netflix has not confirmed that window.

What could happen in Beauty in Black Season 4?
Spoilers for Beauty in Black Season 3 follow.
Season 4 has plenty to resolve after Season 3 ended with several characters facing uncertain futures. The season followed Kimmie and Mallory as they tried to maintain control of the Bellarie empire while arrests, betrayals and old enemies continued to threaten the family.
The finale pushed those conflicts much further. Horace and Norman were badly injured during their confrontation, while Jules emerged as an even bigger threat after learning more about Glen’s death. He eventually targeted Rain and helped turn the Make It Rain nightclub into the scene of a violent attack.
Kimmie, Mallory and Rain were all caught in the chaos, leaving Season 4 with immediate questions about who survived and who will control the family’s businesses next.
Season 4 should continue Kimmie and Mallory’s power struggle
Kimmie’s rise has driven much of Beauty in Black since the beginning. She started the series working as a dancer alongside Rain before becoming deeply connected to Horace and the Bellarie family.
By Season 2, the Bellaries were dealing with an FBI investigation while their business empire became increasingly unstable. Season 3 then placed Kimmie and Mallory closer to the center of power, even as addiction, criminal investigations and internal conflicts threatened everything around them.
Season 4 now has room to explore what happens after that power structure collapses again. Jules and Gina could become major forces in the next conflict, while the survivors of the Season 3 finale will have to deal with the consequences of the nightclub attack.
Netflix has yet to announce the Beauty in Black Season 4 release date, episode count or full returning cast. Until then, all three seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
