Software maker Adobe is bringing its popular creative tools right into your daily work chats. The company just released the new Adobe for Slack MCP app, a massive software update that plugs more than seventy different pro tools into the messaging platform. Now, workers can easily edit images using Photoshop or generate fresh artwork with Firefly directly inside Slack without ever switching to another computer program.

Slackbot uses chat context to run advanced design tasks

The new setup operates directly through the built-in digital assistant inside Slack. When you ask Slackbot to handle a chore, it reads the context from your current messages, shared files, and channel history to figure out what you need. From there, it automatically calls up the right Adobe software to finish the job.

You can ask the assistant to take a written project summary and turn it into a PDF or a video file. If you have a spreadsheet full of raw numbers, the system can quickly convert that data into a visual chart to share with your team. It also handles bulk photo edits, letting users quickly remove messy backgrounds, tweak the lighting, or crop several pictures at the very same time.

The new integration hits global business accounts starting today

The new plugin is available right now for all Business Plus and Enterprise Plus customers around the world. You can use it across the desktop software, mobile app, and web browser versions. Anyone can start testing the basic features without logging into a specific Adobe account first. However, signing in unlocks top-tier tools, generative features, and access to saved cloud files.

This launch highlights a long-term goal for the software brand to place its creative options inside popular chat systems. It already built similar links for ChatGPT and Copilot, with plans to add Gemini soon. By moving high-tier tools into the places where teams already talk, workers can wrap up their daily tasks much faster.
