Apple has published eight separate age-rating and age-assurance changes over that period, each with its own publish date and its own deadline, all on developer.apple.com/news.
None of the eight changes arrived as a single package. Apple posted them one at a time, tied to a specific country, a specific US state, or a specific catalog question, which means a developer checking compliance has to work through eight separate notices rather than one master document, regardless of whether the app in question ships on Apple Watch Series 12, on iPhone, or on both.

Six jurisdictions, six different rules
South Korea, Australia, Vietnam, Brazil, Singapore and two individual US states, Texas and Utah, each appear on this calendar with a rule Apple applied only to that jurisdiction. Louisiana appears alongside Brazil, Australia, Singapore and Utah in the February 24, 2026 item without a separately stated deadline of its own. Apple’s developer news feed treats each jurisdiction’s requirement as its own notice rather than folding them into a single global age-rating policy, the same pattern this desk has already found in Apple’s country-specific iOS changes for iOS itself.
Texas appears twice on the calendar, once for an earlier tranche effective January 1, 2026, and again for a separate age assurance requirement effective June 4, 2026, a single day after Apple published it. That one-day gap between publish date and effective date is among the shortest turnarounds on the eight-item list, matched only by the Australia social media item, published December 8, 2025 and effective two days later, and by the Korea override, which Apple made live on the same day it published the notice.
